I've join 12WBT - they way to the new me

Today is the day – the final count down. The last remaining hours before our worlds get turned into exercise, calories and weight loss. But it is what we all want – it is why we are here. So I am trying to keep the nerves down with my excitement. It kind of hit me when the plans were released that wow… we are going to have to do this for real! But I am prepared. I have spent enough money on this transformation (not just the initial fee but groceries, cooking utensils, ) that it will work… right? I am committed and ready to go. Yesterday I also did my fitness test. I am proud to say I am a beginner! I tried my absolute hardest and this is what I ended up with: 1km Run: 10minutes and 19 seconds Push-Ups: 8 on my knees. (Horrible I know… this result I am slightly ashamed of. I have zero upper body strength) Abs: 0 – Struggle Street!! Wall Sit: 15 sec struggle street for sure Sit & Reach: 5cm So that is all for now, I did get up at 530 this morning and did my exercise my legs are so sore, will do it again tomorrow Cheers Rachel

Paw Print Soaps

I was lucky enough to be asked to made some Paw Print soaps for Animal Resuce Qld

Animal Rescue Queensland (ARQ) is a registered charity dedicated to saving the lives of animals throughout South East Queensland including Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast and Ipswich.

They are  dedicated to the care and re-homing of stray and abandoned animals. They do not recieve any government funding and rely solely on the generosity of our foster carers and public donations of money and supplies.

They do a wonderful job hopefully these Goat Milk Soap will provide them with extra funds they need to save some more animals looking for new homes!

Homemade Lip Scrub

Homemade Vanilla Mint Lip Scrub

After the chilly days we have been having I came across this recipe for you to make your own lip scrub more than likely have the stuff in your cupboard. The recipe is below
What you’ll need:
  • 2 tsp of brown sugar
  • 1 tsp of jojoba oil (you can add more if you like it a lil’ slimier)
  • 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 2 drops of peppermint oil (for tinglies)
Mix all of your ingredients together in a bowl. Then use a finger or toothbrush to apply the recipe and gently scrub in a circular motion for 10 seconds. Rinse your lips with warm water and pat dry. Lube it up with your favorite  lip balm. Store the leftover scrub in a small jar for late-ah. Enjoy!
Would like to hear what you have to say about the scrub i have just made some and it's pretty good. :)

In saying that it only 118 days until the big man comes im working on Christmas designs already :)
